REMEMBER WILLIAM Thio, the Star Magic talent? Well, he’s still very much in the running, not as an actor though but as a news anchor for UNTV’s WHY News. William is not sure kung makababalik pa siya sa acting.
“I never really thought about it kasi matagal na rin akong wala, eh. Marami nang turnover, it’s not just one turnover,” say niya sa amin.
As UNTV’s “WHY NEWS” latest addition, joining the program anchors Angelo Diego Castro and Ms. Gerry Alcantara, medyo nag-adjust si William.
“Of course, during the first day I still had slight adjustments. But as the days went by, I was able to adjust. I love the news reporting in this program. It’s very short, very concise, very accurate, very balanced,” say ng binata na mabenta rin pala sa paggawa ng commercials para ipalabas sa Asian countries tulad ng Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia.
As host naman of Opinion Leaders for GNN, William gets to see other world like politics.
“I still love politics,” sabi niya, describing it as “parang real-life teleserye na mas madrama pa sa buhay ng artista.”
Ayaw naman niyang pumasok sa politika as “okay na ang maging news anchor, masasagap mo lahat.”
