EARLY LIFE

Arci was born Ramona Cecilia Datuin Muñoz on January 12, 1989 in Quezon City, Philippines. She got her Theater Arts degree from the University of the Philippines.

Arci’s ticket to showbusiness was with the reality artista search at GMA Network, Starstruck. She joined the in 2005 but failed to win the grand prize. Although she was not proclaimed the ultimate survivor, her stage charisma and budding acting talents were already noticed. She was signed in as a talent at the GMA Artist Center from 2006 to 2010.

Her acting debut after Starstruck was with the 2006 drama “Agawin Mo Man Ang Lahat”, playing the role of Chantal. From then on, she played various supporting roles in the television dramas “Bakekang”, “Princess Charming”, “Ako Si Kim Samsoon”, “Ngayon At Kailanman” and “Langit Sa Piling Mo”.

After staying with GMA Artist Center for many years, she transferred to various managements such as with Talent5, Viva Artist Agency, ABS CBN Entertainment and Star Magic Philippines. Looking at her choices, these transfers allowed her to work on more flexible projects that showcased her versatility and talent as an actress.

She managed to land her first lead role in the hit television show “Felina: Prinsesa ng mga Pusa” in 2012. After this huge break, she had maintained her leading lady status in various projects from the networks TV5 and ABS CBN.

‘Walang Hanggang Paalam’ stars Zanjoe Marudo, Angelica Panganiban, Paolo Avelino and Arci Munoz

Arci is currently playing the role of Samantha Agoncillo in the drama action series “Walang Hanggang Paalam”. It was aired first in September 28, 2020 in The Filipino Channel. She stars alongside Angelica Panganiban, Paulo Avelino, and Zanjoe Marudo. She replaced Nadine Lustre and Julia Montes after both actress backed out from the project.
