Sa virtual presscon ng ABS-CBN bilang pagwe-welcome kay Sunshine Dizon bilang Kapamilya at bahagi ng bagong soap opera na Marry Me, Marry You ay nagpaliwanag ang aktres kung ano ang dahilan niya sa paglipat sa ABS-CBN. Unang-una raw na dahian ay kailangan niya ng trabaho dahil meron siyang binubuhay na dalawang anak.
“To be honest I’ve only had a very simple prayer when it comes to my career. I’ve always asked the Lord to plant me where I would bloom and in all the seasons of my life I trusted His will.
“So when this opportunity came, I just knew in my heart na ito na yung bagong phase. I am old and hopefully wise enough to know and understand that the only constant thing in life talaga is change so whatever will propel you forward, I’m all for that,” tuloy-tuloy pa niyang pahayag.
Masaya din daw siya sa binigay na oportunidad sa kanya ng ABS-CBN at excited siyang makatrabaho sa mga susunod na pagkakataon ang ibang Kapamilya stars.
Lahad ni Sunshine, “I am very thankful to be given this opportunity. It’s a new season in my life and career and I am just very thankful and very excited to be given this opportunity to work for Kapamilya naman ngayon.
“I don’t want to sound like a hypocrite na it never crossed my mind na may gusto ka makatrabaho. Sobrang favorite ko yung movie ni Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino na ‘Exes Baggage’ and I was so excited when they said na si Direk Dwein (Ruedas Baltazar) ang magiging director nitong ‘Marry Me Marry You,’” ani Sunshine.
Gusto rin daw niyang makatrabaho sina John Lloyd Cruz at Piolo Pascual.
“Oo. Sana,” kinikilig niyang sabi.
“Siguro my career is coming to a full circle na maka-experience naman ako ng mga pinapanuod ko lang din noon, makakasama ko na ngayon,” hirit pa niya.
Wala namang pakialam si Sunshine sa bashers na hindi nagustuhan ang paglipat niya sa Dos.
“For me, work is work. And I will not deny the fact that I have two kids and I need to work. I have good friends naman in the industry who work for kapamilya and I’ve always heard good things about them.
“Work is work and sa panahon ngayon we should all be grateful and thankful that we are able to work. Parang hindi na dapat gawing issue yun,” deklara pa ng bagong Kapamilya actress.
