NAPILI NA ang Top 4 movies na pasok sa 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival. Ini-announce ito ng MMFF Execom ngayong Friday, June 30. Ang pagpili ng Selection Committee ay base sa script na isinubmit sa kanila ng mga producers.
Pasok ang mga pelikula nina Coco Martin, Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla, Pia Wurtzbach, Jennylyn Mercado, Jericho Rosales, Vic Sotto at Dawn Zulueta sa Top 4.

Ang susunod naman ay ang announcement ng 4 na remaining films (finished films) na gaganapin on Nov. 17. Ito ang kokompleto sa 8 official entries na ipapalabas sa duration ng Metro Manila Film Festival na magsisimula sa Christmas Day.
