Pagkatapos ng matinding deliberasyon at pagtatalo ng mga voting members ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC), naging matagumpay ang pinaka-unang Star Awards For Music ng isa sa mga prestihiyosong award-giving bodies ngayon, na ginanap sa Sky Dome, North EDSA nu’ng October 29.
Halos lahat ng icons sa music industry ay nagkaisa sa monumental event na ito ng PMPC at wala rin silang reklamo sa mga nagwagi sa bawat kategoryang nabanggit sa gabi ng parangal.
