Kris Aquino, ‘di magagawang talikuran ang showbiz kahit pumasok sa pulitikaKris Aquino, ‘di magagawang talikuran ang showbiz kahit pumasok sa pulitikaIF BOY Abunda is 100% seeking a gubernatorial seat in his native Eastern Samar in 2016, kinumpirma rin sa amin ng King of Talk that Kris Aquino is also eyeing the same post—not necessarily in her native Tarlac province.

But he has yet to  furnish us with the statistics kung ano nga ba ang estado ng bahaging ‘yon dominated by our Waray brothers in terms of progress.

One thing’s for sure though, tanging si Kuya Boy lang sa mga miyembro ng pamilya Abunda has never experienced what political life is like.

Why not chase a Senatorial dream, ‘ika nga? After all, he’s a shoo-in.

Ani Kuya Boy, this branch of government is legislative, sa madaling salita, ang institusyong ito’y gumagawa at nagbabalangkas ng batas on a national scale.

“Legislation is easy,” deklara ng TV host.

Kilalang Noranian si Kuya Boy, but when it comes to governance, he takes his hats off to Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto. With an undoubtedly erudite mind of his own, tila na-reinforce kay Kuya Boy ang payo ng ilan sa kanyang mga kaibigan sa ABS-CBN, “Boy, kung nais mong makatulong sa bayan, go local first.”

Now, on Kris.

But Kris—unlike Kuya Boy who grew up in Borongan—does not trace her roots to Concepcion, much less to the entire province na pinapantasya niyang “gogobernadoran” in 2016.

If we may share our “geneology”, the Carrascos are a native of Paniqui, Tarlac. Ninong pa nga namin sa binyag ang tiyuhin ni Kris na si Peping Cojuangco who, based on his political background, had a stronghold over the province.

The year 2016 is barely three years from now, but knowing how the political “overacting-ness” operates in this country, ngayon pa lang ay nagkukumahog na ang mga pulitiko in their alliances from top to bottom.

With the confirmed news about  Kris’s shifting her gear to politics, it only sounds so much like ng kanyang banta in recent past na tatalikuran na raw niya ang showbiz nu’ng kasagsagan ng legal battle niya laban kay James Yap.

Base sa aming kaswal na tsikahan ni Kuya Boy, if he’s prepared to lose all his hosting jobs in ABS-CBN in favour of public service, ganoon din kaya si Kris should she get elected as Tarlac Governor?

Ngayon pa lang, we say, WE DOUBT.

Base na rin sa mga inconsistency ni Kris, she’s not about to compromise her millions-worth earnings from every revenue source, para ano?

We doubt if Kris can bear hobnobbing with her co-electees knowing her condescending stance. To begin with, marunong ba siyang mag-Kapampangan o mag-Ilokano?

And one more important thing, kung may libreng oras din lang, Kuya Boy goes home to Borongan and comes home with reinvigorated enery to fulfill his commitments in Manila. Eh, si Kris, has she ever gone to her kunu-kunong native Tarlac, eh, sa kanya ngang daily morning show, not once has Tarlac ever been featured, ‘no!
