IN A recent episode of Picture! Picture! (on GMA hosted by Ryan Agoncillo), isa sa mga photo-aided questions sa mga celebrity players was a painting. Tatlong choices ang ibinigay, dalawa roon ay Picasso at Van Gogh. At ang naiibang choice ay Heart Evangelista.
Ryan’s mention of Heart’s name evoked laughter in the audience. Ihanay ba naman kasi ang TV Sweetheart ng GMA sa mga masters?
Mala-abstract ang painting na ‘yon of various colors. Hindi kami tiyak kung anong medium ang ginamit (oil, watercolour, charcoal, etc.) ng gumuhit. But one thing’s for sure: that piece of art deserves to be mounted on an easel or hung on a wall at a painting exhibit.
And guess whose painting it is? Kay Heart nga!
Little does the public know that the TV host-actress is good at this art form, unlike her Startalk co-host na si Joey de Leon whose painting virtuosity is known to the world. What’s more, pareho rin pala ng artistic inclination si Heart at ang kanyang nobyong si Senator Chiz Escudero.
At para sa mga art enthusiasts, magkakaroon si Heart ng kanyang art exhibit mula May 8 hanggang 21 sa Ayala Museum.
This is the other artistic side of Heart, na lalo naming ikinabilib sa kanya aside from her brilliant hosting, versatile acting, excellent PR and exceptional communication skills.
To top it all, nowhere in her body is there a single mean bone.

Mismong si direk Joey—who had so much fun playing—ang bumilib sa concept ng game show who had to ask the production staff whose brilliant idea it was.
Makapigil-hininga naman kasi ang bawat yugto ng Picture! Picture! that is all the more heightened by the three kickout rounds until the lone player is determined towards the end.
Kaya sino kina Congw. Lucy, direk Joey, Mr. Fu at Kuya Germs ang malamang na mag-uwi ng kalahating milyong pisong jackpot prize? Abangan.
