Si Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano ang napili bilang Philippine ambassador ng nangunguang prayer app sa buong mundo na Pray.com. This app provides daily prayer and Bible-based audio content na kailangan ngayon ng bawat taong humaharap sa matinding pandemya.

Kilala sa pagiging Christian at pagkakaroon ng matibay na pananalig sa Diyos, ideal choice si Gary V for this prayer app co-founded by Steve Gatena five years ago.

Ayon kay Gary V, he was honored to join Pray.com and introduce the empowering prayer app to Filipinos lalo na sa panahon ngayon ng pandemya.

“I want to encourage everyone to pray. I have survived so many health challenges. I am here with you today only by the grace of God. I am unashamed to share my faith in my Lord Jesus Christ. I am grateful, first of all to God, and to Pray.com for giving me a platform to help others draw closer to the Almighty God who gave His only Son to save us,” pahayag ni Gary V sa ginanap na digital mediacon.

Launched in 2017, Pray.com now reaches more than 10 million people globally through its mobile app and website. Bukod sa encouragement and inspiration through daily prayers, pastor podcasts ng naturang app ay magiging  boses din si Mr. Pure Energy ng bible stories like Joseph as well as meditation prayers na siguradong makaka-inspire ng maraming tagahanga.

Aniya, “I want to encourage everyone – no matter what you are going through – take a moment, stop and pray.  Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated. Start a conversation with God who loves you, God who is everywhere, God who knows you and hears your every cry. The Word promises – we can approach His throne of grace and always, we will find help in our time of need; He who has promised is so much more than able.”

During the mediacon, personal na tinanong namin si Gary kung ano ang prayer niya para sa mga leader ng ating bansa, at ang prayer niya para sa ABS-CBN na tinanggalan  ng prangkisa ng Congress.

“For ABS-CBN it has always been my prayer that we don’t…  that ABS-CBN  would not become bitter because of what happened to it but would become better because of the lessons that we learned from it.

“And to the leaders of the country I pray that they learn from the true leader (God). There’s a lot of sacrifice, there’s a lot of selflessness that needs to go into it, but can you imagine if our leaders took lead from the leader, then I believe that the Philippines no matter what is said about it, no matter where we are, kahit na sinasabi nilang tayo ay third world nation, so what?

“When the leaders of this country begin to understand na sila yung nasa posisyon, na nasa kanila yung power  that God has allowed them to be, and it maybe to change the way things are — whether it’s something about corruption or anything out there that has always tainted our government – siguradong magiging maayos ang lahat.

“Can you imagine if leaders would just follow God’s will and when they see that there are change that going on not just on the outside but more so in the inside of our leaders, can you imagine the number of people that will follow? That’s my prayer talaga for them, that in some point in time God soften their hearts enough to listen and see what God really wants them to do.”

Ibinahagi rin ng ASAP Natin ‘To host and performer kung ano naman ang kanyang personal prayer.

“I’d probably pray that God would eradicate the covid-19 virus  but before doing that, sana bago mangyari yon, the people would get into the habit of prayer so that when the virus has gone it becomes such a habit that their days would not be complete without it. And they will continue to pray so that whatever may come in the future they will approach whatever challenges lie ahead with trust, with faith, with hope and with love. I think that probably would be my ultimate prayer,” pahayag pa niya.

Very timely naman ang pagiging ambassador niya ng  Pray.com dahil kare-release lang ng another song of praise niya entitled “Make Us Whole Again.”  Written in the summer of 2020, the song is his way of expressing his journey during the pandemic, grappling with hope and fear, life and death, frailties and faith.

Just recently,  Valenciano lost his photographer of 30 years, Raymund Isaac to Covid19. His photographs were used for the posters of Pray.com.

Pray.com is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Available naman sa Spotify, Apple Music at YouTube Music ang kanyang song na “Make Us Whole Again.”
