Marian-RiveraAS EXPECTED, Alex Brosas dear, this writer incurred the ire of the fans dahil sa aming column item solely devoted to Marian Rivera last Wednesday.

Not only were her fans incensed by the writeup, maging si Rams David of the actress’s management office—na noo’y kasama ni Marian when the latter yelled at a female TV reporter—was also miffed. Ewan kung isinumbong kami ni Rams, or Ateng as he’s fondly addressed, sa mga bossing sa GMA.

One thing we know though, wala kaming direktang kaugnayan ng kanyang inaalagaan/inaalalayang artista except that iisa ang aming istasyon. Hindi kami kabilang sa production staff ng soap ni Marian, in much the same way that she’s not part of the 18 year-old Startalk.

Kung tutuusin, para nga kaming si Rhodora X who has a split personality: our being a Startalk staff is a totally separate entity from our being a tabloid columnist. Because of the obvious disparity, gusto naming isipin that we are not accountable to Marian nor to her management office nor to GMA for any writeup—positive or otherwise—about her, maliban na lang kung personal na ang atake.

We maintain that what we wrote and got published here in Pinoy Parazzi last February 12 hardly contained any personal assault against Marian, save for our opinion which is the primordial essence of a column based on a factual occurence.

Just like all the other tales of woes ng karaniwang reporter, too bad na ang ipinagpuputok lang ng butse ng mga tagahanga at ng mga artista o ng kanilang manager ay ang mga negatibong naisusulat, but how about the halleluiahs that see print as well? Nakukuha ba nilang ipaabot ang kanilang pasasalamat for an article beautifully written?

Waley!

What added crisp to the episode was the presence of Heart’s dyowa, si Senator Chiz Escudero, who showed up at his girlfriend’s abode.

Dahil sa kaselanan (o kasalanan?) ng naturang paksa—tulad ng puno—we’re assigning trees to their names.

But it turned out na wala naman pala silang relasyon. So, who’s the dyowa of Duhat Tree?
