The proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back ay ang umano’y pagma-mabutihan nina Hayden at Nancy Castiglione, which the latter categorically denied over an exclusive phone patch interview in Startalk TX last Saturday.
Kung si Hayden ang tatanungin, based on his tweets and actual interview by Ricky Lo,“misunderstanding” ang salitang ginamit niya sa alitan nila ng nobya. But as it turns out, the misunderstanding seems so big that Vicki has made a big decision, this time setting her boyfriend free.
Nakakatawa, sa February 4 episode ng Startalk TX, dressed in sleeveless red top with heart prints ay nag-guest nang live si Vicki only to profess her love for Hayden. In the said interview by Ricky and Lolit Solis, isa sa mga tinalakay ay ang pagpayag na ni Vicki na bumalik sa showbiz si Hayden.
In hindsight, it was Tito Ricky who forewarned Vicki never to allow Hayden to take the showbiz plunge, dahil maghihiwalay lang sila. Their affair almost crumbled nang masangkot si Hayden sa sex video scandal, but the forgiving Vicki took Hayden back into her life as though nothing ever took place.
In the previous paragraphs, mukhang narito ang sagot sa katotohanan ng umano’y pakikipagkalas ni Vicki sa kanyang boyfriend.
Hayden is staging a showbiz comeback, and what better and louder way to announce his return to the fold than this gimmick simply manufactured from out of Vicki and Hayden’s PR machine.
How flimsy of Vicki’s reason for her breakup, si Nancy na ka-tweet lang ni Hayden, pero ang mga personalidad na katalik ni Hayden noon sa video which Vicki had seen for herself, hindi nagbanta ng kanilang tuluyang paghihiwalay?
Kawawang Nancy, she’s now being used as Hayden’s passport to re-enter a territory kung saan neither karagdagan siya nor kabawasan. Mismong si Nancy na ang naglinaw sa Startalk TX that she’s happily married as well as a happy mother to two kids.
Sadly, the couple’s “cleverness” is not a “saleable merchandise,” sorry, pero walang gustong bumili ng kanilang conjugal gimmick!
MEMORABLE PARA kay Jose Manalo ang proyektong Valiente ng GMA many years back. Kung hindi kami nagkakamali, that was Jose’s first crack at acting kung saan gumanap siya bilang katulong.
Now, the then-top-rating soap has taken a “valiant” transfer, its TV rights bought by the Kapatid Network. But this goes way beyond the kunek sa career ni Jose as his son Nico is part of the remake that stars Oyo Sotto and JC de Vera.
Back in GMA, ang ngayo’y head ng Creative Services Department ng TV5 na si Mr. Perci Intalan was among the think tank behind the original version. Banking on the story’s timeless plot, kasama na gabi-gabi ng mga manonood ang Valiente sa Singko.
For some reason na mahirap ipaliwanag, most of the top guns in TV5 came from GMA. And as we all know, may kung anong legal na kinakaharap ang Kapatid laban sa Kapuso. Yet seeing a project like Valiente resurrected, na pinagbibidahan pa ni Oyo whose dad Vic Sotto is more Kapuso than anything, isama pa ang anak ni Jose who is also identified more with GMA, this must be telling us something.
In dishing out new shows, it’s always the viewers’ interest that should reign above all.
