HINDI APEKTADO si Chito Miranda sa batikos sa kanya nang gayahin niya ang posing ni former President Ferdinand Marcos.
Chito made the controversial pose nang mag-perform siya para sa nakaraang birthday ng dating pangulo upon the invitation of the Marcoses.
“I don’t have to attend every argument I am invited to. Really wanna know what I think? For me, MUSIC IS LIFE. Everything else is trivial. :)” sagot ni Chito sa batikos sa kanya.
Merong mga sector ang naimbiyerna sa kanya dahil it appears na sinusuportahan niya ang mga Marcos nang gawin niya ang famous Ferdinand Marcos pose.
Sa isang statement na inilabas ng Student Council Alliance of the Philippines chairperson na si Francesca “Iska” Dalangin, sinabi nitong “Parokya ni Edgar is a pop icon of our generation. A lot of young people, including us, idolize them. We thus hope the band uses its unique position to become ambassadors of truth. Let’s use rock n’ roll to set the truth free from the Marcoses’ historical revisionism!”
