NOW IT can be told.

“Bakit.Siya.Ang.Darna? I like her pero nagawa na niya. Level up na.

It leaves a bad taste in the mouth dahil ang message ay nanggaling sa isang taong nagwo-work sa kalabang network.

And knowing Angel Locsin, she is very good when it comes to action.
WITHOUT RATTLING off specific reasons on why he feels that Kim Jones is the one for him, ito ang paliwanag ni Jericho Rosales sa presscon ng movie niyang Alagwa. She’s just the type of a person who’s willing to support, love and give more love. Ako ay ganoon din sa kanya. She deserves all the love in the world because she’s so nice, she’s very talented, so caring. For me, I call her my dream girl.

Alagwa, technically his second indie film after I Love You Virus, has earned for Jericho plaudits in the international movie scene. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement in Acting award in two award-giving bodies, the Newport Beach International Film Festival 2013 and more recently, the Guam-USA International Film Festival.

Bilang single dad whose son (Bugoy Cariño) became a victim of human trafficking, Jericho reaped praises in the international market. Hollywood Reporter review said, “Nagging, brusque and hyper-critical, Rosales expertly conveys the over-compensation of the single parent in the tough love Robert shows his son.”

Sabi ni  Jericho, the challenge lies in the “hard work” in preparation for his role.

“Pinaghalo-halo ang tatlong characters – may father, may brother, may nephew – alam mo ’yun? Nilagay ko ‘yung sarili ko sa kanila. It’s hard kasi ‘di naman ako full-time father talaga. Robert Lim is a full-time single dad.

HAD A taste of Asian cuisine during the opening of Urban Spoon where  Michelle T. Defensor, younger sister of Mike Defensor, is one of the owners.

Urban Spoon, located at the ground floor of Victoria Towers in Timog, Quezon City, boasts of authentic Asian cuisine as Gustatory Consultant Chef Rodrigo Reloj stressed.

“Actually it’s more on the Southeast Asian side like Indonesian, Malaysian. In Malaysia alone there’s a very special cuisine called Peranakan or Nyonya. And then we have a little bit of Thai and Singaporean. We all aware that the food from the straits, that’s where they do the trade of spices. This is where all the good cuisine emanated,” Chef Rodrigo, an architect by profession and culinary master by passion, shared.

“The taste is really authentic but the presentation has a modern twist. It’s naman  modern that you don’t recognize it or you don’t appreciate it. Parang we take pride from that. Even the plating itself, parang there’s art already,” Michelle shared.

The name Urban Spoon was coined by Michelle who wanted to  have “a young, vibrant feel for a dining place.”

“Parang the feel is young and parang relax lang. If it’s going to be too-Asian sounding, parang sometimes it might come out too Singaporean or too Chinese. We wanted to achieve na parang you appreciated Urban Spoon, parang modern food then a taste of Asia,” Michelle related.
