Love works in mysterious ways that not even social class, distance, gender, culture, religion, age, and height can stop anyone from falling in love.

Kung gusto mong magbigay ng payo, you can be like John Leguizamo’s character Toulouse-Lautrec in Moulin Rouge who says, “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”

Other movie lines are: “If you love someone, you say it, you say it right then, out loud, or the moment just passes you by” (My Best Friend’s Wedding) or “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible” (When Harry Met Sally).

Minsan ay nagi-ging martir ka when you are super in-love, gaya ni Julia Stiles kay Heath Ledger sa Ten Things I Hate About You: “I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate it, I hate the way you’re always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that you’re not around, and the fact that you didn’t call. But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.”

“Maybe it is our imperfections which make us so perfect for one another.” (Emma); “Kiss me. Kiss me as if it were the last time” (Casablanca); “You complete me.” (Jerry Maguire); “Our love is like the wind… I can’t see it, but I sure can feel it” (A Walk To Remember); at “I miss you so much it hurts.” (Sleepless in Seattle).

Hindi padadaig ang mga Pinoy movies natin with its unique indelible lines like what Bea Alonzo poignantly delivered in And I Love You So: “Kung pwede lang sana I had five more days, five more years… five more lifetimes with him.”

Kung si John Lloyd Cruz bilang si Popoy sa One More Chance ay nagsabing “She loves me at my worst, you had me at my best, but you chose to break my heart”, iba si Sam Milby sa babaeng minahal pero nanakit sa kanya sa Babe, I Love You, “I can never hate the woman who made me smile again!”

This must be love!”

Kaibigan, usap tayo muli!
