Ini-announce ng Metro Manila Film Festival executive committee ang walong pelikulang masuwerteng nakapasok sa para sa December 25 film festival. Ikinagulat ng marami ang announcement ng MMFF dahil karamihan dito ay indie films.

Laglag ang mga pelikula ni Vic Sotto, ang Vice Ganda-Coco Martin, starrer at maging ang “Mano Po 7” ni Richard Yap at Jean Garcia.

Pasok naman ang mga pelikulang 1) “Die Beautiful” ng IdeaFirst Company mula sa direksyon ni Jun Robles Lana at pinagbibidahan ni Paolo Ballesteros; 2) Kabisera ni Nora Aunor, JC de Vera, Ricky Davao, Jason Abalos, Victor Neri, and RJ Agustin directed by Arturo San Agustin and Real Florindo mula sa Firestarters Productions; 3) “Saving Sally” na pinagbibidahan ni Rhian Ramos mula sa Rocketsheep Post Productions directed by Avid Liongoren; 4) “Seklusyon” ng Reality Entertainment, Inc. mula sa direksyon ni Erik Matti na pinagbibidahan nina Ronnie Alonte at Dominic Roque; 5) “Sunday Beauty Queen” ng Tuko Film Productions, Inc. starring Hazel Perdido, Cherry Mae Bretana, Mylyn Jacobo mula sa direksyon ni Baby Ruth Villarama; 6) “Oro” ng Feliz Productions na pinagbibidahan nina Irma Adlawan, Mercedez Cabral at Joem Bascon directed by Alvin Yapan; 7) Vince & Kath & James ng ABS-CBN Productions, Inc starring Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia, and Ronnie Alonte mula sa direksyon ni Ted Boborol; at 8) “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2: Forever is not Enough” starring Eugene Domingo directed by Marlon Rivera mula sa Quantum Films.
