Shows sa Siyete, isa-isa nang sinisibak!

THE NEWS IS already out: Ka-shake na si Dolphy na pumirma na sa TV5. Ang paglipat ng Comedy King ay hindi dahil expired na ang kanyang kontrata sa ABS-CBN, because to begin with, he has/had no existing contract at all.

Ngayon ko lang tuloy napagtanto ang imbitasyon para sa presscon ng Star Cinema for Paano na Kaya? recently. Studio 1 ng ABS-CBN compound ang nasa directions, hindi ang Dolphy Theater where the event was held.

So what happens now to the structure named after the King of Comedy? As for TV5 that poses as the biggest threat in the broadcast landscape these days, maging aware lang sana ito sa restrictions kaugnay ng working habits ni Tito Dolphy.

Dapat isaalang-alang ng TV5 ang kalusugan ng Comedy King who can no longer endure long taping hours.

IN THE SAME vein, kumpirmado na rin ang transfer ni Maricel Soriano sa TV5 mula sa Kapamilya network even if the itsy bitsy of news initially started as a blind item yet tukoy na tukoy naman.

But unlike Tito Dolphy’s crossover, Maricel’s transfer hardly generated shock waves! Susme, kahit noon pang ipino-promote niya noon sa Startalk ang kanyang Metro Manila Film Fest entry na Filipinas (si Wyngard Tracy pa ang manager niya) many years ago, kinakati na siyang lumayas sa Dos, ‘no!

In fairness, Maricel Soriano will always be Maricel Soriano wherever fate may bring her.

AS STARSTRUCK V ends on February 21, ito rin ang araw ng pamamaalam ng Banda Oke nina Jaya at Allan K. In fact, it had its last taping day yesterday, kung kalian kahapon din lang naipagbigay-alam sa dalawang hosts ang pagbabu nito sa ere.

Teka, naka-one season na ba ang programa that succeeded All Star K? In fairness, oo naman. It piloted October last year, pero dahil sadly, hindi ito pumapalo sa ratings, Banda Oke had to be “disbanded.”

But if it’s any consolation to its staff and crew, hindi lang naman sila ang apektado with the “radical changes” na nagsisimula nang mangyari sa GMA caught in today’s cutthroat competition.

Maging ang Bitoy’s Showwwtime, na pumalit sa Bitoy’s Funniest Video ni Michael V, will soon be off the air.

Kung mapapansin n’yo ang Banda Oke at Bitoy’s Showwwtime, ‘di hamak na mas maganda ang mga precursors nito. Add to this ay ang consistently high ratings ng All Star K at BFV before they got axed.

So, which show is next in line?
