All thanks to Maja Salvador and Enrique Gil’s bonggang “Twerk it like Miley” performance sa ASAP last year na talagang trending worldwide, ito ang naging hudyat para gayahin ito ng mga young actresses na talented naman, pero hindi masyadong napupush o kinakagat ng masa.

Ang petite child actress turned viral dance sensation na si Ella Cruz ang unang sumabak dito. She recorded her own dance cover of “Twerk It Like Miley” with a twist together with her supportive friends. Nagustuhan ito ng mga bagets at nasundan pa ito ng “Worth It”, “Dessert”, “Body on Me” among others. Isa ngayon si Ella sa paborito ng TV5 at kahit medyo awkward minsan panoorin ang mga steps niya because of her height, we have to give it to her. E for Effort! Thumbs up!
Next in line is another Viva favorite na si Yassi Pressman. Formerly a Kapuso na hindi namin gets why hindi na-renew (she was good sa kanyang past TV shows!), nakinabang ito sa biglaang rise to fame ng JaDine tandem dahil kasali rin siya sa “Diary Ng Panget” at “Talk Back and You’re Dead”. She is also being groomed to be Viva’s next important popstar at recently nga ay nagbida ito sa “Girlfriend for Hire” with Andre Paras. Like Ella, she also uploaded her version of “Twerk It Like Miley” kaya may showdown na rin sila ni Ella, huh! Apart from that song, pinauso rin niya ang “Lean On” at “New Thang”. Uh-huh!
Si Sarah Lahbati a.k.a. Dance Goddess of ASAP naman ang bagong joiner sa dance viral videos. Marami ang nahuhumaling sa real life leading lady ni Richard Gutierrez kasi aminin na natin – she really exudes that graceful aura whenever she’s onstage. Headturner talaga ang hot momma na itey! She recently recorded a dance cover of ex-One Directioner Zayn Malik’s newest single “Pillow Talk”. May special guest pa!
Kung kayo ang papipiliin, sino kina Ella, Yassi, at Sarah ang pinaka-worth it na gawaran ng award na “Best Viral Dance Queen”? Marketing strategy ba ng Viva ito? Why not make a dance-inspired movie for the three? Whatever the answer is, marami ang natutuwa at naiimpluwensyahang umindak. Tama ‘yan!
