MARAMI ANG KINILIG when Phil Younghusband and Angel Locsin guested on KC Concepcion’s KCX segment sa The Buzz. Everything is going smooth between the two since they first met five months ago. In fact, Phil already met Angel’s dad, friends and family.
In the recent Azkals’ match against Sri Lanka, Phil scored two goals. Angel was seen watching from the sidelines. Is it because Angel was watching kaya naka-score si Phil? “Yes, inspired ako. I was inspired. During the National Anthem, I was looking for Angel in the stands because the seats that were allocated for her were empty. She didn’t sit in those seats so I thought she wasn’t there.” It turned out Angel was seated beside Phil’s mom and James’ girlfriend Fiona.
Phil is very protective of the ball during a football match and he will not let anyone steal it from him. Is it also the same when it comes to Angel? “I’ve known the ball since I was three years old. I’ve known Angel for five months so I don’t think she’ll appre-ciate it if I protect her,” he answered. Sinabi ni Phil na masaya raw siya at nakilala niya si Angel. “It’s been interesting, getting to know Angel and I mean I’ve enjoyed it.”
KC played a guessing game with Angel and Phil to know how much they really know each other. She gave some descriptions at kailangang tukuyin ng dalawa kung sino sa kanila ang tinutukoy. Ang resulta: Una, si Phil daw ang mahilig mangamusta through text or call. “I can’t sleep without texting her. I need to say good night to her.”
Pangalawa, pareho silang mahilig mang-surprise sa isa’t isa gaya nang bigyan ni Phil ng pasalubong si Angel when he went to Germany.
Pangatlo, Phil said they compromise kapag pipili ng gagawin o pupuntahan sa date but Angel was quick to rebut. Siya raw talaga ang nasusunod. “Kasi feeling ko he wants me to be happy.”
Phil is the type of guy who would ask a girl to be his girlfriend pero ayaw daw niyang madaliin ang lahat. He wants things to be right and perfect. “We’re happy at the moment and we don’t want anything to change because we’re happy.”
They are not yet a couple. “Medyo parang ine-enjoy lang namin iyong nararamdaman namin ngayon. Iyong happiness. Very rare lang naman mangyari ito. Ewan, basta masaya lang kami. Ayaw naming magmadali o ma-pressure,” sabi ni Angel.
Phil never thought seven months ago that he would be this happy like he is now. He hopes that he can take Angel to the World Cup in 2014. Makikita mo sa kanya na seryoso siya kay Angel and he is seeing their blossoming romance as a long term relationship.
I’m happy for both of them. At sana makapasok ang Azkals sa FIFA World Cup.

Angel needs to get with someone here own age and stop dating guys for their looks and because they are so popular. If he wasnt even in Azkals. She wouldnt even give him a 2nd glance. Stupid girl.

this is for marinel dated july 23, 2011. who do you think you are? why are you putting down kargador, janitors, elevator boys, and athletes? just because you work in an office, you think that you are better than these people. shame on you. you think these people are ugly because of what they do? these are jobs, good jobs. being an athlete is a talent, it’s better than being an actor, that’s why futballers around the world (especially in europe) make so much money. they get paid for their talent. not anyone can be an athlete. i am not a fan of phil younghusband. didn’t even know who he was, but you have to be good to be in a professional team. i’ve travelled in 8 different countries and live in a big house, i am able to afford good food and be comfortable, but i don’t think that kargadors, janitors, and elevator boys should be put down for their jobs. these are jobs that they do around the world, a lot of these people are very dedicated to these jobs. we should respect them for what they do.
