AFTER ITS hugely successful first run, Procter & Gamble Distributing Philippines, Inc. and Puregold brought back an event that aims to empower and elevate Pinoy entrepreneurship—the VIPuring Convention II.
This exclusive event for Puregold “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” GOLD members was also P&G and Puregold’s way of thanking retailers and entrepreneurs for their loyalty and support. The event’s highlight centered on an inspiring talk about how to level up one’s business that provided inside information on growing one’s business.
Renowned wealth coach Chinkee Tan, Aksyon TV and 92.3 NewsFM’s Chink Positive! anchor and bestselling author, lent his expertise and headlined the event to share helpful business tips, selling skills and insightful anecdotes on entrepreneurship to highly appreciative Puregold GOLD members. He harped on the importance of choosing superior products that would sell at competitive margins. Chinkee Tan gives financial advice on TV5’s Kumare Klub and Balitaang Tapat. He is one of the country’s top wealth coaches and author of the bestselling book “Till Debt Do Us Part” which sold more than 60,000 copies nationwide. His program, Chink Positive!, is KBP 20th Golden Dove Awards’ Best Special Program awardee in 2011.
A major component of the convention was the first-class, VIP broadway-themed entertainment that delighted the audience. Joy with Olay’s The Kitchen Musical medley featured superb performances from thespians Christian Bautista and Karylle. The Downy Mystique presentation dazzled the audience with Myxx Dancers’ masquerade production number. Olay Total Effect’s The Little Mermaid medley featured the impressive performance of Ciara Sotto, while the Head & Shoulders PDA Comedy segment, headlined by the Aegis band, scored big and hearty laughs from the audience.
