BINUO NG Malacañang, ang Task Force SAFE 2013 upang matiyak ang seguridad ng 15 lalawigan na sinasabing high-risk areas ng DILG at PNP sa 2013 elections.
Ayon kay Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte, hihigpitan ang security arrangements at adjustments ang mga lugar na ito upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng lahat sa darating na mid-term elections. Si Deputy Director General Allan Purisima ang inatasang mamuno sa Task Force SAFE 2013.
