KUNTENTO RAW sa pagiging Kapuso Star si Miss World 2011 first runner-up Gwendoline Ruais.

“They’ve been giving me a lot of opportunities,” sabi nga niya sa amin in a recent interview with her. “Aside from Party Pilipinas, I’ve been hosting sa Walang Tulugan. Tapos nga guestings sa iba pang mga shows. They are coming up with a lot of opportunities for me. I’m doing Eat Bulaga again.

“But the thing is… I’m tied with Miss World International. So hindi ako puwedeng mag-sign ng GMA contract. Pero paraang ni-negiotate namin na, the Miss World Organization gave their approval na I can sign with GMA. Excited ako for that. And for sure kapag nag-sign na ako, mas maraming projects na.”

“We’ll be traveling in different parts of the world. I think we’ll be leaving by March. Siyempre to support the various charity projects of the Miss World. And to promote the pageant also. Next year, Miss World will gonna be held in Mongolia. So, I’ll be very excited about that. But before that, siyempre naghahanap na tayo ng Miss World-Philippines.  Open na po ang search. The pageant will be on June. So I’m exited about that. Iti-train ko po ‘yong bagong isi-send nating representative for the Miss World. At sana , she’ll bee able to make the Philippines proud.  And I’ll do my best para matulungan siya na makuha ang korona.”

Si Miss Venezuela ang reigning Miss World. Friends na naman daw sila during the pageant.

So mahirap. Pero, sign language. Tapos, we just smile  Gano’n!” sabay tawa ni Gwendoline.

Kasi I want to really be involve with choosing and trying to train the next Miss World-Philippines.

Kung magaling ako, why not, ‘di ba?

So, it’s been a lot of fun.”

Bukod sa charming niyang beauty, matangkad (her height is 5’ 11”) at sexy (her vital statistics 35-25-36) nga si Gwendoline. During the Miss World-Philippines pageant, bukod sa titulo nito ay siya rin ang nanalong best in swimsuit.

Paano kaya kung may magkaroon ng offer sa kanya to pose in a men’s magazine na naka-two-piece? Is she open for this?

“Hindi siguro. Kasi, siyempre po, I’m representing the Philippines. Dapat, uhm… I still have to uphold a certain image. And sa akin, there’s nothing wrong wearing a swimsuit. Pero it implies a different thing kapag sa men’s magazine na ‘yan, eh. Iba na ang meaning, eh. Sa akin, okey na mag-swimsuit. Okey lang na magpunta sa beach. Pero, kapag nag-pose ka sa isang men’s magazine, kahit naka-damit ka, men’s magazine ‘yan, eh.”

After her reign, puwede na kaya?

“As of now, ganito pa ang estate of mind ko. Uhm… just like anything in life, I’ll still never say… never. Kasi hindi ko alam kung ano nga ba ang estate of mind in a few years. Pero as of now, I still don’t feel the need to do that. And I don’t see the point. Ang sa akin is… I’m happy with my body. I don’t need to pose in a men’s magazine to be happy about it.”
