Talo na naman si Nora Aunor as Best Actress sa nakaraang 12th Cinemalaya Film Festival na isinagawa sa Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Mula sa hanay ng mga magagaling na mga artistang pambida, nagwagi ang baguhan na si Hasmine Killip for “Pamilya Ordinaryo” over Judy Ann Santos for “Kusina”; Pokwang for “Mercury is Mine” at Nora sa pelikula niyang “Tuos”.

Napag-alaman namin na si Hamin is married to a Brit na ewan ko lang kung sila pa ng mister niya.

Winner as Best actor naman ang magaling na si Tommy Abuel for “Dagsin”.

Nanalo rin ang pelikula nina Pokwang at Bret Jackson for Special Jury Prize (full length) na “Mercury is Mine”. Best performance from a supporting actor (full-length) sina Lou Veloso, Jun Urbano, Leo Rialp, and Nanding Josef for “Hiblang Abo”. Best performance from a supporting actress (full-length) sina Elizabeth Oropesa para sa pelikulang “I, America” at Lollie Mara para sa “Ang Bagong Pamilya ni Poching”.

Netpac prize, full-length: “Pamilya Ordinaryo”; Best full-length feature film: “Pamilya Ordinaryo”; Best director, (full-length feature film): “Pamilya Ordinaryo – Eduardo Roy Jr.

Audience choice for short feature film: Cyrus Valdez, “Forever Natin”; Audience choice feature film: “Tuos”; Best sound full length feature film: “Tuos”; Best Original Music Score Full Length: “Tuos”; Best editing, full length feature film: Carlo Francisco Manatad, “Pamilya Ordinaryo”; Best production design (full length feature film): Steff Dereja,”Tuos”.

Winner din for Best cinematographyfull length feature film si Mycko David for “Tuos”; Best screenplay (full length feature) si Jason Paul Laxamana para sa “Mercury is Mine”; Best screenplay for short film feature si Isabel Quesada for the film “Pektus”.

Wagi rin para sa Special jury prize (short feature film) ang “Fish Out of Water” at ang direktor na si Mon A.L. Garilao para sa short film category.

Netpac Jury Prize (short feature film) para sa pelikulang “Ang Maangas, Ang Marikit at Ang Makata”; Best short film: Isabel Quesda, “Pektus”.

Sa awards night last Sunday, present din sina Lav Diaz, Direk Mel Chionglo, at Ms. Charo Santos. Naging performer last night ang newly appointed na Chairperson ng National Youth Commmision na si Aiza Seguerra.
