Aunor, you have to present the movie Himala for the screening tonight’.

We we’re surprise, nasa red carpet kami kikilabutan ka.

Bawat country, kailangang pagbigyan mo. Ilang country ‘yun? May translator,nag-start ‘yun August 29, natapos ‘yun September 4. Pero dumating kami sa Venice September 4 up to September 9 kasi, September 8 ‘yung award.”

She tried to learn the habi and she tride to learn how to use the sagwan properly. Pati ‘yung pagpapaanak, komadrona. We we’re there in Bajao community at kung papaano siya maging Bajao.

Ayaw niyang binibigyan siya ng VIP treatment that is why, sabi ni Direk Brillante, ‘KuyaBoy, I know she’s good but I never thought she’s this good. My God, grabe!”

Natakot kaming lahat baka may pating dahil malalim.”

  1. I met Nora Aunor in Maasin City Southern Leyte. She is very humble, very pretty woman and very intelligent in selecting her various roles. No doubt She is an International Best Actress and our country must give her an honor. She is the only actress that makes our country proud of when it comes to acting. With all your pains, troubles and hardships GOD is very generous in giving you an abundant blessings, you need to treasure it and continue to give us extra ordinary movies that foreign countries shocked and appreciate. Ate Guy Congratulations and to GOD BE THE GLORY. ( DSWD-PROVINCIAL CAPITOL, MAASIN CITY 6600 SOUTHERN LEYTE.

  2. You can never put a good woman down, an adage that best fit the life and works of Nora, now she’s reaping the fruits of all her labor and effort in doing good quality films even if it would mean losing her box office appeal in doing “art films” and not the usual “formula box office sure films”
I believe her movie “thy womb” is the rightful Philippines rep to “best foreign film ” category in oscars, sana di mapulitika uli, dapat na tayo matoto ng leksyon, noon p sana tayo nanalo kung “Himala” ng pinadala sa Oscars

  3. Nora Aunor is an artist, first and foremost…..She does not care how she looks on screen (even deglamorized if the script calls for it) ……Compared to stars nowadays who only want to look “glamorous’ and who care so much about making sure their movies make it at the box-office, Nora is a cut above the rest…….She was already making “indie’ movies when she was young, long before “indie’ movies seeped into people’s consciousness……The honor that she has brought and continues to bring to the country is incomparable….She is Philippine cinema’s most precious treasure!…..No wonder film/art students and professors prefer to study her movies in big universities… He body of work speaks for itself……….And on top of this, what is mind boggling is she does not even know how great she is…This to me, is the mark of a true artist!

  4. that’s why after 4 decades of reigning the philippine cinema, she’s still the one and only superstar….no one even in thousand years 2 come can duplicate her achievements and her body of work….she’s one in a million….unlike some celebrities now who are only after the sordid topic of coins, but Ms Nora Aunor is much different among the rest….i guess it’s high time for filipinos to wake up and embrace the kind of her movies…esp THY WOMB which is opening soon on the 28th of November…and 2 u Ms Nora Aunor, my humble admiration and respect!
