Most Memorable Childhood Christmas ng mga Star

ILANG TULOG na lang ay Pasko na naman. Parang kailan lang ay nag-uumpisa pa lang ang taon but in just a few weeks, we will be welcoming 2013. Sabi nga nila, ang Pasko ay para sa mga bata. Lahat tayo ay dumaan sa pagkabata at sa paniniwalang mayroong Santa Claus. I believed in Santa Claus when I was a kid. I would hang a pair of socks by our window and slept early at night so Santa could bring gifts to our house unnoticed.

In this Season of Giving, I asked some stars what their most memorable Christmas experience was when they were kids and why. Here are their stories:

Bianca Gonzalez – My Mom’s side of the family used to celebrate Christmas in our home on the 24th. She has six other siblings so we have a lot of cousins. Playing games, Noche Buena, giving gifts – these made for the most fun Christmas childhood memories.

Sitti – All my Christmases spent in childhood were wonderful, happy memories. We attended Simbang Gabi, went caroling, ate Noche Buena with the whole family, opened gifts, sang and danced for additional aginaldo from ninongs and ninangs, Christmas ham, fruit salad, embotido, and love. Every year it was like that.

Tintin Bersola-Babao – My most memorable as a child were from the ages five to seven years old. I remember waking up at midnight to open Santa’s presents for me under our Christmas tree. At eight years old, I think I already discovered who Santa was!

K-La Rivera – My most memorable Christmas as a child was one when my Daddy dressed up as Santa Claus. I totally knew it was him. I love my Dad even more for doing it. Every Christmas that I get to spend with my family and friends is a memorable one.

Direk GB Sampedro – It would be the nights before Christmas when my Dad would always go home with Christmas candy cane.

Hansen Nichols – My most memorable Christmas when I was a child was being so sleepy but couldn’t wait to open gifts sooner as Christmas Eve turned into Christmas Day. It’s those kinds of memories that make Christmas so special. Getting all dressed up, eating together, getting so puyat and the best part, opening gifts.

Jayke Reyes – I honestly think every Christmas is special to a kid. There’s not just one but every Christmas was memorable to me kasi when I was in the United States, my whole family would come together to celebrate. It’s really not the presents but about gathering and giving to one another. It’s the happiness that you cannot explain.

Kaibigan, usap tayo muli!
