Maria Venus Raj, ‘di man lang nabigyan ng heroes’ welcome

NGAYONG ARAW GINUGUNITA ang National Heroes’ Day, but I can’t help but look back at the most recent events, kung saan ang pagbibigay-tribute sa mga bayani ng ating bansa is one of historical flaw.

Bagama’t iisa lang naman daw ang epekto nito, that is, to relax his mind and body from a hard day’s work (hindi lang po isang araw), “commercially unethical” daw ang trip ng aktor.

Hay, hanggang dito na lang muna as I can’t wait to gulp down my next beer bottle!

I cannot imagine any other host as “invincible” as Ate Amy (Ate Amy raw, o!) whose objective mediation on issues ranging from espousal break-ups to neighborly spats to downright katsipan to the max ay nakakaya niyang pagitnaan nang walang kinikilingan.

Ate Amy transforms her daily program into a kangaroo court of sorts, na ibinababa niya sa level na mas nauunawaan ng mga manonood ang mga paksang pinagtatalunan ng dalawang kampo. Ang tipo ni Ate Amy ay hindi ‘yung host who adds fuel to the fire, bagkus she listens to both sides and asks probing questions, let the feuding parties celebrate their supposedly private rottenness on national television!

Ate Amy’s job as a go-between is even harder than her guests’ willingness to expose their stinking stories. Any moment nga kasi, as commonly happening around us, kadalasan, ‘yung mga umaawat sa mga naggigirian ang siyang nadidisgrasya.

Credit goes to the one and only Amy Perez, the perfect choice for the job not even Kris Aquino, the so-called Queen of all Media. Can give justice to. Tamaaah…

  1. ^ー^… te,dito na si... BLACK BEAUTY ”:〕joke!

While there are lessons to be learned with their ‘gulo and talakan’ stories, some things are better discussed off cam..

  3. http://opinion.inquirer.net/inquireropinion/letterstotheeditor/view/20100830-289511/Singson-in-Hong-Kong-court-What-are-RP-consulates-for
AM wondering if it’s worth taxpayers’ money to send a congressman from Marikina and a lawyer just to monitor the arraignment before a Hong Kong judge of Ilocos Sur Rep. Ronald Singson, who had been arrested on drug-related charges. What is the Philippine consulate there for? Also, the claim of the father, self-confessed jueteng lord Luis “Chavit” Singson, that his son was “set up” is just ridiculous. There was a news report that a submarine is being used to transport illegal drugs into the country. Singson is said to own a submarine and his province has been known to be the “port of entry” of smuggled motorcycles and appliances. Maybe the Philippine Drugs Enforcement Agency can look into the possibility that illegal drugs may also be involved in the smuggling. NARCISO NER,

I like Face to Face portion sa Pinas Win na Win. Walang hyper, overacting at no exploitation. Just pure entertainment, with personal touch.

(PS – Ate Kris, magkakabalikan pa kaya kayo ni James Yap?, totoo ba na maghahati kayo sa conjugal property nyo?, at totoo bang mestisa, half Mexican socialite 6’1 taas GF ni James now? – only daughter daw at taga Forbes Park, family friend daw ni Gemma Cruz Araneta, former ambassador sa Mexico) … From grapevine of Reliable Sources.
