WHO WOULD EVER think that K-La Rivera and Kim Idol will perform together in one exciting show? Pero mangyayari ang lahat ng ito with their Casino Filipino Tour titled The Beauty and The Beautician on November 16 (Hyatt Casino Filipino), November 18 (Davao Casino Filipino), November 26 (Parañaque Casino Filipino), and November 27 (Cebu Casino Filipino).
Their unique tandem shouldn’t be missed dahil tiyak na mas masaya kapag pinagsama mo ang dalawa. The show’s title gives us hints on what audiences can expect from the show. Sabi nga ni Kim Idol, “Bakla ako at maganda si K-La.”
Pero magkaganon man ay may pagkakatulad pa rin naman ang dalawa. K-La and Kim Idol are genuine talents. K-La rose to fame when she joined ABS-CBN’s Star Power where she impressed audiences with her brilliant voice. Samantalang si Kim Idol naman ay paboritong stand-up comedian at sing-along master sa mga comedy bars. Marunong din siyang kumanta kaya tiyak na may mga production numbers sila ni K-La sa kanilang show.
Pareho rin silang busy sa kani-kanilang mga projects. K-La is one of the newest MYX VJs and is regularly seen on ASAP Rocks. She recently made her theater debut in Atlantis Productions’ In the Heights. What can the audience look forward to from their tandem onstage? K-La says, “I hope to be doing variety of songs that range from old to new ones, delivering beautiful and inspirational messages in my own renditions. I just hope that it will be a fun night of laughter and magic. At the end of the night I hope the audience can go home in a happy mood because of the comedy of Kim Idol and the songs I offered them.” Hirit naman ni Kim Idol, “We all need a laugh and that is something I can promise. If you are a music lover, this show is perfect for you because most of our songs transcend every music genre we have today. Modesty aside, I can also sing. So expect a duet and a duel.”
They only have good words for each other. Kim Idol says K-La is very promising and very beautiful. “I’m excited to work with her. Sana maging close po kami even after The Beauty and The Beautician.” K-La enthuses, “Kim Idol is funny and intelligent. I’m looking forward to getting to know more about him and watching him perform live.”
