Julia Barretto, Iñigo Pascual, Miles Ocampo, at Kenzo Gutierrez, mga miyembro ng ‘Mutual Admiration Society’

Julia Barretto, Iñigo Pascual, Miles Ocampo, at Kenzo Gutierrez, mga miyembro ng 'Mutual Admiration Society'There’s a new Mutual Admiration Society in ABS-CBN, at ang mga miyembro nito ay sina Julia Barretto, Inigo Pascual, Miles Ocampo, and Kenzo Gutierrez. Mukhang off-group nila ito sa labas ng kanilang acting routine sa matatapos nang afternoon series na “And I Love You So”.

Of the four, si Julia ang may pinakamahabang stint sa showbiz; while Miles, now a grownup, ay produkto ng Goin’ Bulilit. Kenzo is virtual greenhorn, samantalang Inigo’s showbiz entry was no sweat dahil anak siya ni Piolo Pascual.

AILYS is Miles and Kenzo’s first regular teleserye, pero hindi naging mahirap ang sudden shift to serious acting as Julia is around, unselfish of advice.

Pero ang apat bang ito—all throughout the 14 weeks na sila’y magkasama on the set—have remained strictly professional? Wala bang namuong “something” between the two pairs?

Samantala, may ilang hapon pa para tutukan ang mga nalalabing tagpo sa AILYS particularly the intense confrontation scenes between Katrina (Angel Aquino) and Michelle (Dimples Romana).

EARLIER THAN usual ang summer break para sa mga estudyante, and what an opportune time lalung-lalo na sa mga bagets who are suckers for fantaseryes to spend their weeknights and evening weekends staying glued to these programs.

Kagabi ang ikatlong bugso ng nagsimula nang Carlo J. Caparas’ “Ang Panday” nitong Lunes at Martes. Bukas naman ng gabi ay ang materyal pa rin ng komiks genius na “Tasya Fantasya”.

In both Viva Communications-produced series on TV5, every episode is a revelation of unknown truths told differently. Comedic ang paraan sa unti-unting pagbubunyag ng lihim na pagtatangi ni Tasya sa kanyang Sir Noel, habang suspenseful naman ang nakakubling katauhan ni Flavio as he faces the world.

Ang maganda rito, both “Ang Panday” and “Tasya Fantasya” are given a refreshing, flavorful twist, a total departure from their respective film versions decades ago.
