Iza Calzado, cries foul over unprofessional ethics of a series’ production team

“I’ve been dreaming working with him. We’re suppose to do a project together, schedule lang ang hindi magtugma. Maraming pelikula ni Buboy ang napapanood ko. Hangang-hanga ako sa kanyang kapasidad bilang aktor. Gusto ko talaga sana drama or I like to do a play. This is the opportunity to perform with him, dahil dito nakita ko ‘yung process niya bilang isang aktor at bilang director. If we do scenes together for everyone, ang dami niyang ideas so, ang dami kong natututunan sa kanya,” say ng dalaga.

This Andres De Saya, marami akong matututunan at ganu’n din, marami akong maise-share.”

You have to do it sometimes, to the extent… ako nga ang naglalaba at namama-lantsa kapag nag-a-abroad kami.

“Ang masa-sabi ko lang, I’m very thankful they offer me the show and then I turn it down for several reasons. I believe in time they will have something good and better. For me right now kasi, I choose one thing after the other. More of the reasons also is that I told Mr. Tuviera personally before after “I Heart You Pare” babalik ako ng “Eat Bulaga.” It’s been three weeks… one month since I took Eat Bulaga kasi, biglaan lahat ito. Two weeks ago ko lang nalaman ito and then it’s gonna air June 6, it’s all rush, in my opinion. We have a lots of things block-off, like shoots for Myra… like magazine show and then I have two Pinoy TV on June which I signed contract. ‘Yun ang nasa utak ko, If I cannot commit to a project, I will not do it! Ang totoo n’yan kasi, right now, I’m turning 29, next year I turn 30 so, there are lots of things that’s on my bucket list. There are lots of things I wish to pursue, hopefully, make me a better and multi-positive individual or artist. So, it’s still a lot of things I have in mind and I want to plan a lot of things. So, like I said, there’s several reasons on it,” paliwanag ng actress.

How true na nagalit raw si Iza sa taping ng I Heart You Pare dahil umaga na natapos ang taping nito? “Hindi ako nagalit. Siyempre, as individual, as an artist, I would like that one day we can make a better working hours. Kasi, kung nagalit ako, I’ll walk out. I finish the taping, no one wants this. Sa totoo lang, I used to do that, three times a week when I was younger. Ang problema, is now I cannot do it anymore, alam mo ‘yun. Parang, I cannot stand-up, I’m not used to it. Ako lang, wish ko lang sana, there will come a time, not maybe perhaps in the near future. There will be, parang specific working hours for all.

It was an expression of feeling and the opinion that I have which I didn’t even blame production, they are not to blame. Kasi, kailangan naming tapusin in two days lahat ng eksena namin. I’m just saying that, I believe we can have better working hours,” aniya.
