GIRL POWER: Max Collins, ideal beshies ang tingin kina Lovi Poe at Rhian Ramos

TONIGHT NA magtatapos ang paboritong light romance show ng Kapuso network na “The One That Got Away”. Since early 2018, naging ritwal na ng mga loyal Kapuso viewers ang panonood at pagkalap ng good vibes sa programa na pinagbibidahan ng pretty ladies na sina Lovi Poe, Rhian Ramos at Max Collins.

Sa programa, Max Collins played the role of Darcy, ang sporty and tough ex-girlfriend ni Liam (played by Dennis Trillo) who ended up falling in love with the rich ladies’ man na si Inigo (Ivan Dorschner).

Aminado ang aktres na struggle para sa kanila ni Ivan na palabasin ang kanilang onscreen chemistry. Ito ang una nilang proyekto at alam naman ng lahat na she is now happily married kay Pancho Magno, na nag-special guest din sa show.

“It was a struggle for us in the beginning to create chemistry between us – so when we started getting kilig reactions from fans – I felt relief because that meant somehow our effort was transcending on screen. I don’t really see myself being paired with him again if other than for a second season of TOTGA becuse I think mas bagay yung love team namin sa comedy talaga, and I don’t think I’ll be doing another romantic comedy again soon (but I’d love to of course if given the chance) ” sagot ng aktres sa aming email interview.

When asked about what she’ll miss about her character as Darcy: 

“I will miss Darcy’s attitude most – she’s responsible,  always protects her friends and family – and doesn’t care if she burbs in public or eats like a pig.”

Kung pagbabasehan ang personal social media accounts ng mga cast members ng TOTGA, hindi maikakaila na ‘for real’ ang na-build na friendship especially between the leading ladies.

“Working with Rhian and Lovi was amazing.  They are awesome women who are undeniably perfect. Maganda sila in every way, on cam – off cam – they are definitely my ideal beshies.  I had so much fun with them and I wish the fun didn’t have to end. 

 

I didn’t feel like I was competing with them because they are actresses that I’ve always looked up to.  I’m previliged to even share the screen with them. They always had my back and I always had theirs. We’re all girls who try to lift each other up and fix each others’ crowns.  I wish there were  more women like that.”

Bilang regular viewer ng programa, masasabi ko na na-prove nina Alex, Zoe at Darcy na women do not need to compete with each other – they have to support each other! Definitely ay mamimiss namin ang programang ito na girl power talaga ang ipinupush.
