KAWAWA NAMAN ang cutie na si Jameson Blake. Binabash kasi ngayon ang binata ng mga netizen sa panawagan niya online that he is looking for a graphic artist na gagawa ng banner for his social media accounts like Youtube, etc.
Panawagan niya: “I need a banner with the username ‘Lucid Express’. Best gets a shout out from me.”
Ibig Sabihin ng aktor na sa mapipili niya ay isa-shout-out niya or i-promote sa kanyang socmed.
Naging viral ang posting ni Jameson na nakakuha ng iba’t ibang mga negative feedbacks at bashing mula sa mga netizens na nakabasa lalo na from graphic artists na feeling nila ay binabarat sila ng aktor.
Feeling ng ilan, masyado sila kinakawawa na ang isang lehitimong trabaho na ang kapalit lang ay shoutout sa socmed. Kumbaga, ex-deal. Gagawa sila ng banner, ika-casual plug sila (shout-out) sa socmed account ng aktor.
Nag-react sa post ng actor ang isang graphic artist na si @badhabitssco : “… You are setting the standards low for artists in our country. Filipino artists struggle to make ends meet, and you continue to propagate the stigma by equating hard work to a “shout out”. Do you ask a doctor if they could give their services for free? Of course, not because they studied for X amount of years to reach that. Same goes for artists. Don’t tell us to ignore the tweet. You have a big following and can influence so many people. What if people will begin to think that the value of art is even lower because of this. Expected more from your apology lol seems like you didn’t learn.”
Pero humingi kaagad ang aktor ng dispensa sa kanyang posting.
Part of Jameson’s message sa kanyang IG Account: “I apologize to all graphic designers thinking I’m trying to degrade their art work for something little as a “shout-out…”
“I did not expect this would become a big issue. I was basically seeking volunteers, no one had to do it…” pagkasulat pa ng binata.
I suggest to Jameson to hire a professional team to handle his social media accounts and spend a little for his media mileage. Kasama ito sa pagbubuo ng career and consider it as a business.
Okey na. Humupa na ang bashing pero heto’t nakikisawsaw si Bianca Gonzales sa isyu ang hitadera sa kanyang tweet, kailangan daw bayaran ang art work ng isang professional graphic artist.
