LUIGI MUHLACH recently had a one-on-one interview with Charlene Gonzales when he guested on The Buzz. Naging emosyonal si Igi Boy (palayaw ni Luigi) when he talked about how grateful he is to his dad Aga. “My dad, I really look up to him. Sobrang napakabait niyang tao talaga and he’s very humble. He doesn’t know that kasi I never had the chance to tell him that but he inspires me,” he said.

Igi Boy never had the chance to live with his dad when he was young. Bumalik sa buhay ni Aga si Igi Boy, who was then a teenager, when he got married to Charlene. At that time, marami na siyang mga katanungan tungkol sa buhay na naghahanap ng mga kasagutan.

But realizations came to Igi Boy when he met his wife Patty. “Please make God the center of your life and marriage and everything else will follow.” Simula raw noon ay sumasama na sa kanila sina Igi Boy at Patty sa pagsisimba two to three times a week.

Aga and Charlene are proud and happy of what Igi Boy has become. Now that he has a family of his own, Igi Boy said he would also want to become like his dad when he grows older. He is working hard to be a great chef para sa ikabubuti ng kanyang dalawang anak na sina Alejandro at Adriana.

“I was never given the chance to be like you. I look up to you, gusto kong maging parang ikaw hindi dahil ikaw si Aga Muhlach or you’re financially stable or you’re famous, but my dad is a really good guy. I really want to be like him kasi ang dami niyang taong natulungan sa buhay niya. Ang daming nagmamahal sa kanya.”

According to Igi Boy, he values his relationship with his family so much because they are the ones who will be there for him in times of need. “Family is really important.
