Charice Pempengco, $100,000 per show ang talent fee!

Ang hirap daw i-schedule nito for a show. Sinabi naman ni Mommy Raquel na hindi rito magko-concentrate ang anak niya as a singer kundi sa US. Pakititigan ang kanilang outfit, pulos signature na ngayon, from clothes, bags and shoes.

Ngayon, it’s official.

Pangarap niyang maging artista at makasama sina Enchong Dee at Manny Pacquiao.

AYAW Paawat!

      • wait how about her album sales?? I think that’s the paramount of all things being in this kind of business else, Warner brother will drop as a general rule for all recording artists,

Let’s wish her well!

    • So, what it doesn’t make you popular at all na kapag lumabas ka eh totally sikat ka na… neh look Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Mariah Care and etch yung ang mga mainstream names… I’m living in East Coast and a lots of my non-filipinos friends don’t know her… but they know arnel pineda of journey and Manny Pacquiao…

      • @ Belmidi.. what? that’s not crab mentality thats factual, I even acknowledged Arnel and Manny Pacman as popular figures!!

      • echuserang froglet kang abnormal ka… why dont you try mag pakamatay pra may silbi yang katawang lupa sa earth noh.. cra ulong panutcha ka… d kpa maging proud at cnavhan k ng utak talangka… kesa nmn walang utak diba? isip isip din….. buday kang unggoy ka….

      • Eh bakit di mo ipakilala – that’s one way, right? Word of mouth, unless you refuse to do it. You won’t regret introducing her to your friends –

    • And you believe everything the grandma says without giving the benefit of the doubt to Charice and her Mom. Please, when they were suffering – just the 3 of them – where was the grandma? Why does she suddenly surface right now with all the allegations – just because of money, money, money? That grandma is suspect, always complaining and just because of money, money, money. She gets what she deserves! The greatest gift that any parent should be able to give their kids is to not be dependent on them. It’s not like that grandma wasn’t given any money. Now that she got a taste for it from Charice and her mom – she just wants more. Shameful, selfish old woman. If she really cared for them – she wouldn’t even want to be interviewed and say all those things in public… She get’s what she deserves – “mukhang pera.”

    • Oo nga. With all the money they have now, they still have to lock the fridge and hide it? If that’s true, nakakapangilabot naman – lola niya pa naman. Granting she had her faults, no one is perfect. Forgive and forget. Charice, to have more blessings, you and your mom must have a sense of noblesse oblige, that is giving back generously some of what has been given to you (sharing, and not stingily.)

  5. @katrina halinghing The main reason for that (baba sa billboard charts), is mainly because palaging walang stock ang mga stores. Usually always sold out and then pag restock kunti lang. Example, hindi makita yung cd ni Charice sa Walmart except when you go online. Music cd’s are supposed to be sold in every department stores or where cd’s are availabe. Where it is highly visible to the buying public and that even those not a fan of her yet would be curious to buy. Yung Charice cd sa Target lang, and then wala ring stock minsan. I know of people who are actually looking around for her cd. And then walang nakita so hindi nalang bumili. Then yung stores na merong cd, wala pang ad, poster, or banner man lang like those found in Japan, Singapore or Thailand. Ewan ko, I hope her management would try to correct this. Pero we asked them before about this – and they said even if she’s not in billboard 200 it doesn’t mean her cd’s are not selling. According to them her cd’s are still selling really well.

    • glad to hear na un ang reason. napansin ko rin sa walmart, they carry her cd, kaya nakabili ako. its a great cd talaga, kaya sayang na ndi mapansin ng mga tao. fans should be requesting her single to be played on their local radio stations. search u rin online, u can request her songs to be played on local radio staions via online. pero so far sa you tube ko lang napanood and sa mga tfc shows sa pinas ang pyramid single…. pls mga pinoys – continue to ask for charice’s cd sa mga record outlet if they dont have it available… maganda lahat mga songs and of course, magaling talaga rendition ni charice….. it’s really worth your $10 sa walmart…

      • What iyan ang reason?? there always a way to solve that thing!! and of course the management has prepared everything prior to the distribution of her cds Let’s face her popularity still not in mainstream, lots of non-filipinos still don’t know her and plus her newest songs are boring and too generic to be recognized!!

      • Fetus, where are you from? I’m here in America, and I’m telling it as it is! Yep, there’s always a way to solve that thing. That’s why we wrote to her management and they have told people here to e-mail back to them the stores where the cd is sold out. And nope the management doesn’t have any control on how many cd’s a certain store has delivered to them and sells. It is still up to that certain store on how many units it orders and to stock up again if sold out. What the management could do is advise them that people are looking for cd’s at their store and it is already sold out. And advise them to restock up too. And yes, people do recognize Charice here already – being on Oprah is as mainstream as you could get. And whoever doesn’t know her yet, is getting to know her as she is all over the news, magazines, radios – everybody just loves her story. And no, her newest songs are not boring. Everybody I know who bought it are raving about it and how addicting her entire cd is. BTW, are you cardcrusher? You say the same negative thing about her! Just face it! The girl is just going to be more and more famous and successful. Believe me, what you’re saying and seeing is just the tip of the iceberg…

      • Respect?? what?? look on the way you attack me do you think you have one to begin with? I’m not trying to put her down “I’M JUST STATING FACTS” I did not insult how she butchers songs from big artists, on the way she answers her interviews, even sometimes she beats likes of Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and etch in exchanging thoughts as if, she biggest star ever existed in the planet and lastly I didn’t insult her looks which is not right morally for someone so unfortunate like her and then, you will say things out of context as if you know me personally, Yes charice didnt do anything wrong with me same thing here, I didnt do anything wrong with her, you’re just people are giving negative impressions about some given facts!! well, as what others say, instead of saying delusional words why not buy her album do it in bundle as much as you can because your words will not help increase her album sales otherwise, warner brother will drop her as general rule to all recording artists famous or not!!! where she belongs at the latter one.

      • @fetus

From the looks of it, it seems nobody could persuade a close-minded hater like you. Alright, you’re entitled to your own opinion anyway (flawed opinions – LOL). Oh well, believe what you want to believe, as long as you’re happy hating somebody. Just don’t expect that other fans of the artists your hating on would respect you when they reply to you. You don’t deserve respect in the first place. If one would read all the comments you posted here, it would be clear to them that you’re not just stating facts as what you’ve claimed but your hating too. You cannot fool a person with a sound mind unless that person has the same motives as yours. If you don’t want to pull down Charice, then why do you spend your time posting comments here that are contrary to the views of the people who like Charice? If you have no intention of poisoning with your allegations the minds of those who have praised her then why should you bother to forward your views? I reckon that you’re NOT simply stating facts or expressing your thoughts. Because you could just simply state your points in just one comment posting, or better yet not post your comment at all because it will not even bring anything good for the artist and for the fans as well. If you could not help it but feel the urge to really say your mind, then for freedom of speech’s sake, you could just post your comment once, and leave the judgment to the readers. It’s up to the readers to agree or argue with you for freedom of speech’s sake too. But what you’re doing is you’re replying to almost each and everyone of Charice’s fans. If you don’t call it hating, then I don’t know what it is? You’re giving the fans views, or shall we say “facts” as you’re claiming it, that are so contrasting to their opinions. It would be considerable and acceptable perhaps if you had only replied to a single comment, but you’re not. You’re trying to poison whatever excitement there is in the minds of her fans making comments here. Why do you have to force your opinion on us? You could just leave us alone. Why the hell do you care if we like Charice so much? What’s in it for you if we treat her like the best artist there is? Does it hurt you? So what if we treat her like an angel or a goddess or a supreme divine perhaps, or whatever? Does it ruin your ego? Are you jealous? We, the fans, are happy and excited with what is going on with Charice’s career now. Even if she’s not as popular as your favorite artists, even if she’s the least popular of them all, we are all inspired by her. Why do you have to take that away from us and pretend that you’re just stating your opinions. You don’t have the right to mess up with our happiness. If you do, then you don’t really deserve respect from us at all. Surely you don’t want us too to mess up with your joy and fondness with your favorite artists, right? On the other hand, me, personally, I don’t really like Justin Beiber too. I mean, I’m happy that someone like him has achieve his dreams, but I’m not really a believer of him, and I’ve even seen some flaws in his talent despite his success. But I’ve never bothered to express my disbelief on him knowing that it will just bring no good to him. That’s my way of showing respect to him even though I don’t like his music. That’s my way of giving respect to his fans’ fondness of him. Is this kind of attitude hard to grow on you, or hard for you to grasp? I hope there’s still a part of your being that we can call humanly in nature. If still you’re not persuaded at all, then good luck on your hating. Actually, for Charice, she has developed in her a new and better way of acquiring peace of mind amidst the hateful claims of her detractors. It’s like MIND OVER MATTER. For Charice, she don’t MIND the haters because they don’t MATTER at all.

      • @fetus, I’m sure you’re too ignorant when it comes to music. And probably the reason why your non-filipino friends are not familiar with Charice yet is maybe they’re not really music lovers at all or maybe they’re familiar only with a few music artists. They probably don’t even know Justin Beiber, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, etc. Maybe they only know The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Matt Monroe. Or probably your non-fil friends hate Charice too the same way you do and all of you are just in denial. The world would have been a better place if the likes of you had just remained a fetus forever.

      • ha? who is charice compared to Justin Beiber, Beyonce, Lady Gagaas, leona lewis as far as popularity is concerned just look their official youtube videos and see the millions of view coming from non-filipinos viewers and look how paparazzis go over with them!!

      • really!! then its better to be ignorant than a blind from facts and how comes my foreign friends hate charice where in fact they don’t know who she is???

      • Charice might not be as popular as JB, Beyonce, or LG right now but one thing is sure, she’s already in the US mainsteam music industry and she has millions of fans scattered all over the world. Yes, there are non-fils who don’t know her yet and most of her fans are Filipinos, or half-Filipinos compared to her non-fil fans, but they are still fans that can make an impact on her success. Just like JB, Beyonce, or LG, they didn’t acquire popularity in an overnight. It took them lots of time and hardwork to get to where they are now. Eventually, Charice will get there too as she is very disciplined and hardworking aside from being so talented, and she has those big people in the industry who can support her. Soon, in the near future, her Filipino fans will be a minority because she’s gaining more and more non-fil fans now that her Japan album is topping charts too after her US and Canada top charting. Her management team is not only aiming for American audiences, they’re also aiming for multi-racial audiences all over Asia and Europe.

By the way, lots of people agree that YouTube is not the most reliable tool to measure one’s popularity. There are lots of people who have accumulated millions and millions of hits in YouTube, yet they are not really popular in the world of showbiz. Charice’s YT video hits may not be as large as what you expect it to be due to the sole reason that her total video hits are divided among her thousands of YT video clips. Besides, most of her YT clips with millions of hits on it were deleted due to copyright infringement. And for her having thousands of YT video clips are proof enough that she’s popular. Probably, not all of her fans are active in viewing her YT videos, but I’m sure that her fans all over the world will be there to help her make top album charting.

It’s actually normal too if you don’t like this girl Charice. You are entitled to your opinions too. I think you know Charice is already popular, but with your comments, one can sense that you’re merely denying it. How can she be not popular when most of internet blogs, some TV shows and magazines inside and outside US border are already featuring her. Aside from that, she’s making top album charts in US, Canada, and this time Japan. Or maybe, you’re just a bit late when it comes to news regarding Charice. Or maybe you’re just ignoring her because she’s not your cup of tea anyway, but you jump to false conclusions right away when it comes to making comments about her. If you don’t like her, you can just say your biased comments in a good way that will not offend her fans. If you cannot figure out how to do that, then your character must be… uhmm… you know what I mean.

      • Oh see now you admitted the fact the charice is not as popular as the mainstream acts like Justine Beyonce and etch but then again you keep defending her as if she’s on the same level. so what’s the point of argument, wait until she reaches that peak before you state your facts ok!!! so for the meantime keep dreaming because its always free!!!

      • Yes, most of her fans know that she’s not yet on the same level as JB, Beyonce, or LG when it comes to popularity. But that doesn’t mean that she’s not popular at all. That doesn’t mean that if she’s not on the same level yet compared to top US artists that makes her a less asset to Warner Brothers or to David Foster’s label records company. That doesn’t mean that she’s not in the mainstream yet. That doesn’t mean that she’s not making lots of money for herself and for those who signed her up and make projects with her. That doesn’t mean that the paparazzi’s cannot go crazy on her too. That doesn’t mean that she can’t have millions of fans and she can’t have top charting albums. I don’t know what’s your definition of the word “popularity”. Maybe for you if an artist is not as popular as your favorite artists then he/she is not popular at all. If that’s your definition of the word popularity then congratulations, you’ve just move yourself to the front of the line for the Ignorant of the Year Award.

I don’t know what you don’t understand with my previous comments. You said that since I admitted that she’s not as popular as your favorite artists then there’s no point of argument anymore. Oh yes, there’s still an interesting discussion going on here. Because you’re making it a point to discredit Charice just to make some argument. While she’s not as popular as you expect her to be but I’m sure you’re aware that she’s making headlines in most TV, papers, or internet news nowadays, she’s making good album sales, and she’s making lots of fans happy and excited, and she’s making haters like you to go nuts. I’m sure you’re aware of all of these that’s why you’re making biased and flawed comments about her. How can somebody make a negative comment on a certain artist if he/she is not familiar with the artist yet. The problem with you, and the truth is, you’re not happy with all the success Charice has attained and you’re probably afraid that one of these days she will eventually climb up to the level where JB, Beyonce, or LG is. Lots of haters before have claimed that Charice will not make it internationally, but all of them ate their own words. And you’re just probably scared that you’ll become one of them soon. One can question why you’re trying to discredit her when she probably has done nothing to you personally. I’m sure she don’t even know about you or your non-fil friends who claimed not familiar with her, but here you are making bold negative statements against her as if you have known her all your life or she owes something to you. Though we have freedom of speech but with your comments, I don’t think you’re just merely forwarding your opinions because it is clear that you don’t really want her to succeed. Your comments are just the same as the biased statements scattered by her hardcore haters all over the cyberspace. I guess you need to take a good look on your character first before you try to pull down somebody because bad karma is really a horrifying thing especially when it bites back hard. If you believe in Karma, then good for you because you can still have a good chance to redeem yourself, otherwise you’re a lost soul already and people will have nothing on you other than pity only.

Charice has done nothing against you. She never discredits any artists too because she believes everybody has the right to succeed. Why won’t you let the girl live her dreams to the fullest? Like what you said, dreaming is always free. How would you feel if somebody would pull down the people you admire knowing that the allegations thrown on them are baseless or merely just hatred? Charice’s fans are not forcing you to like her if you don’t want to accept her. That’s still normal. But it’s a way overboard already if somebody wants to pull her down. In case you’re not aware, your comments are expressing hatred, not just opinions. And that’s what the problem is. If that’s not your intention actually, then I guess you have to be extra careful next time not to hit innocent bystanders when you’re targeting something. If you don’t like her, then you can just ignore her and say nothing against or about her. That’s what normal people do. Respect is what I’m trying to mean here.

By the way, sorry if my comment is too lengthy for you to read. I went too excited – LOL

  7. And yet again, another suspect thing that that Filipino manager of Charice does. Ms. Mendoza even if you’re close to the Pempengcos please protect their privacy first and foremost as manager. Be professional and don’t divulge anything like money unless you are absolutely sure about the intentions of somebody supposedly signing your client for a show. This is so outrageous! Mommy Raqz, you are right – you should look for a new Philippine manager for Charice.
