Charice is a victim of cyber-bullying!

THERE HAS BEEN a massive techno-logy influx in recent years gaya ng e-mail, cellphone, at iba’t ibang online social networks.

While these changes are beneficial to many, they can also be abused. Lagi kong sinasabi that the power that bloggers and texters wield is huge which is why they should responsibly use them.

Reyma Buan-Deveza posted an article on abs-cbnNEWS.com that Charice admitted in an interview with Celebuzz.com that she receives harsh comments on Facebook and Twitter. Sabi niya, “Sometimes the worst part is that some people can’t take [the negativity]. They are too weak to handle that kind of stuff. You just have to be strong about it. It’s just words coming out of other people. If they say ‘you’re ugly,’ it’s just a word – it’s never gonna kill you.”

Charice played Sunshine Corazon on Glee at habang siya ay kumakanta sa season finale nito ay marami ang nakapansin that she gained some weight. Some netizens called her attention about her weight gain. Palaban na si Charice because she previously fought her critics via Twitter and deleted her Facebook account.

Charice gave this advice, “I just want to tell other girls that if you hear a person telling you negative stuff, just remember that they’re not tal-king about you, they’re talking about themselves.”

Kaibigan, usap tayo muli!
