Boy Abunda, nakabibilib ang pagiging ‘Ingleserong social climber’

WHAT’ THE best ingredients para sa isang maga-ling na host?

Para sa akin, peg ko marahil si Boy Abunda who can shuffle from being the tsismoso on The Buzz; from being the sosyalera who can handle a conversation with a brilliant lawyer like Atty Kapunan to a controversial politico on hot water to a daughter of a politician like Katrina Ponce-Erile in his Saturday talkshow Bottomline.

Ang galing ni Kuya Boy. From a tsismosong question kung totoong buntis or in love si showbiz celebrity to the rumoured questionable death of a lover in the early 80’s asking such question to a Katrina Ponce-Enrile on Alfie Anido, kering-keri ni Kuya Boy.

Fan kami ni Kuya Boy noon pa man. When he talks, I listen. He has wisdom sa mga topics na dini-dicuss niya. He is a good public speaker.

In a recent gathering of Quezon City Travel Agents at the Richmond Hotel in Eastwood-Libis last year, he talks about marketing. He is a genius. He talks about branding. He can deal on topics such as fashion and lifestyle; from showbiz gossips to promoting the Philippines abroad.

Kaya nga when rumours started circulating na sa pag-upo ni P-Noy as President of the Philippines, baka siya ang gawing Secretary of Tourism para ipalit sa mga previous big bosess ng departamento na sablay at palpak.

Pero nais ni Kuya Boy to do the things he wants and he loves.

SC man or whatever you call him, hanga kami kay Kuya Boy. Bilib kami sa galing niya.

Sa panahon na marami ang nangangarap na maging Kuya Boy sa industriya; not a Raymond Gutierrez or even a Tim Yap can be the next in line.

Kakain sila ng alikabok.

KALOKA ANG GMA Kapuso Network.

Mabuti na lang at may sari-ling isip ang News and Current Affairs personalities nila with the likes of Jessica Soho, Kara David at Vicky Morales.

Personally, I love watching the shows of Jessica, Kara (and her co-documentaries) at Vicky.

Kudos to the GMA News and Current Affairs Team and special mention to the documentaries of GMA News TV na ang gaganda naman ng mga palabas.

  1. Though the grounds are as lavish as any royal residence, there are no castles on Suomenlinna Fortress, a starshaped bastion built in the 1700s atop a cluster of six islands. Today, the only invaders of this UNESCO World Heritage site are visitors who explore the church, theater, craft galleries, and half a dozen onsite museums. One museum is an entire submarine! There’s no entry fee to the island, though if you lack a boat of your own, there’s a small cost for the ferry ride over. The particularly adventurous can even stay the night at the fortress’s own hostel not free, but potentially priceless.

  2. July 4, 2013 Thu Jul 04 08:00:00 PDT 2013 It must be a conspiracy. Two different bundles of ebooks for scifi readers have just been released, both based on the choosewhatyoupay plan, both partially benefiting charities and both blessedly DRMfree. If you choose both bundles and pay an average amount, you’ll download 14 ebooks for about $20.

  3. British prosecutors said Thursday they are charging Roache with five counts of indecent assault against four different girls, between the ages of 11 or 12 and 17. Three of the offences allegedly took place in 1965 and two in 1968.
