“Although that is allowed, the decision of the PNP is to await the Napolcom decision on the matter,” pahayag ni Cruz.

Sinisiyasat ng Napolcom ang kaso nina Chief Superintendent Rodolfo Magtibay, Director Leocadio Santiago, Superintendent Orlando Yebra, at Chief Inspector Santiago Pascual III.

“There has to be due process, what was stated in the Malacanang resolution was that Napolcom will be the one to investigate the matter,” tugon ni Cruz sa mga mamahayag.

“That is also another consideration. We have to let the Comelec know about this because it is election season,” ani Cruz.
