Some scenes are memorable that they remain vivid in our minds for a long period of time.

I asked some people kung ano ang kanilang ‘di malilimutang eksena sa Pinoy horror movies. Here are their answers:

Feng Shui. – Xander, sales executive, 32 years old, Quezon City

Marami gaya ng checkpoint scene with Manilyn Reynes and Aljon Jimenez in Shake, Rattle and Roll 2; Mary Walter saying “Maligno ang batang ‘yan” in Tiyanak; and Alma Moreno preying on a pregnant Janice de Belen in Aswang. – Claud, teacher, 34 years old, Cavite

The young Matet de Leon saying “Takot ako” in Halimaw sa Banga. – Mart, government employee, 36 years old, Marikina City

The Lotlot de Leon scene in the movie Feng Shui. She was running because hinahabol siya ng lasing. I consider it as unforgettable kasi Feng Shui is a Pinoy horror movie na maganda. – Roxy, marketing executive, 32 years old, Tondo

Although hindi siya considered as a horror film, Mike de Leon’s Itim starring Charo Santos and Tommy Abuel gives me the creeps. I first saw it in my film class at nagandahan ako nang husto sa kuwento tungkol sa isang kaluluwang ‘di matahimik at sumasanib sa kanyang kapatid na babae. Lahat ng eksena ay may hatid na suspense and mystery gaya nu’ng nasa lumang botika sa kanilang bahay si Tommy at biglang nagluko ang ilaw tapos bumukas ang lumang cabinet which contains important documents in solving the mystery. – Eugenie, writer, 35 years old, Quezon City

‘Yung Regal Shocker: The Movie Ang Aparador episode nina Ruffa Gutierrez and Aljon Jimenez. It’s not that scary but it’s a story of two siblings when they were kids (played by Judy Ann Santos and Jomari Yllana). They were always fighting and kinulong ni Jomari si Juday sa cabinet kaya ito namatay. – Francine, mother, 34 years old, Quezon City

Kaibigan, usap tayo muli!
